Attendance at the pre-season coaches' meeting is mandatory for at least one representative from the paid coaching staff of each school. If the school is not represented at the maeeting by a paid coach, atheltic director or assistant principal, the head coach of that sport will be restricted from coaching in and being present at the first contest of the season, not including tournaments. Attendnace at the meeting constitutes being present at the beginning of the meeting, and staying until its completion.
