Attached please find the 2021 CIF LA City Section Hall of Fame press release and the 2021 Hall of Fame class to be inducted.
The star-studded collection of individuals is highlighted by Rachel Robinson (wife of LA Dodger Hall of Famer, Jackie Robinson), NFL Super Bowl Champions coach Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raider Rod Martin, three-time NFL All-Pro Steve Smith Sr. (Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers), former professional MLB greats Chet Lemon & Garry Maddox, 10-year NBA veteran Chris Mills, former WNBA standout Lisa Willis, and current ESPN Senior Writer & former LA City softball star, Ramona Shelburne.
The complete list of 20 individuals and the second Legacy group is attached recognizing the greatest athletes, coaches, and contributors in our 85-year history as a Section.
The goal is to have our induction ceremony in April, 2021. Pending the current pandemic situation, the ceremony may be moved to the Fall of 2021.
