Football: Week 10 Schedule and Scores

Key CIFLACS Matchups: 
  • Central League: 
    • Both Torres (5-3, 3-1) and Contreras (4-5, 3-1) can improve their Division III Playoff hopes with a win in Week 10. Contreras is 2-2 at home and should be tough to beat.
  • Coliseum League: 
    • A Locke (6-3, 2-2) win over West Adams (0-7, 0-4) keeps them in the running for a Division I playoff spot, a loss could be devastating.
  • East Valley League: 
    • Arleta needs a big win over Chavez (3-6, 1-4) to improve their Division I playoff seed. Chavez would like nothing more than to pull off an upset.
    • Sun Valley Poly (5-4, 3-2) is looking like a top competitor in Division II, they face a hungry Monroe (3-6, 1-4) team that needs a win to control their playoff destiny.
    • Verdugo Hills (3-6, 3-2) and North Hollywood (2-7, 1-4) are on the brink of a Division II playoff spot, both need a win in a big way.
  • Eastern League: 
    • Garfield (6-3, 5-) clinched a share of the Eastern League title with their Week 9 win over Roosevelt. They face Bell (4-5, 2-3) who needs a win to keep their Division II playoff hopes alive.
    • Despite the fact that both teams are likely to make the playoffs in their respective Divisions, South East (8-1, 4-1) at Huntington Park (5-4, 1-4) should be a hotly contested match.
  • Expo League:
    • The Expo League title is on the line when Legacy (2-6, 1-0) visits Hawkins (2-7, 1-0) in Week 10.
  • Marine League: 
    • Banning (4-5, 1-3) needs a win to improve their chances of securing a Division I playoff seed, they face Washington (3-5, 1-3) who is coming off three losses to tough Marine League competition.
    • In what might be the CIF LA City Section Game of the Week, Carson (5-4, 4-0) visits Narbonne (7-2, 4-0) in a Battle for the Marine League title. This matchup will have deep impact in playoff seeding.
  • Non-League
    • Canoga Park (5-4, 4-2) needs a big win to stay in contention for Division I playoffs, a Grant (5-3, 4-2) win could shoot them to the top of the Division II bracket.
  • Northern League: 
    • Eagle Rock's (9-0, 4-0) continues its undefeated season when they host Wilson (7-2, 2-2), who is also having a great season and hungry for an upset.
    • Marshall (4-5, 2-2) needs a win over Sotomayor (2-7, 1-3) to control their Division II playoff destiny. 
  • Southern: 
    • Jefferson (6-3, 3-0) needs to win to convince the playoff committee they deserve a top spot in Division I playoffs. A Santee (5-3, 2-1) can shoot them to the top of the Division III bracket.
  • Valley Mission League: 
    • San Fernando (9-0, 5-0) is on pace for a top seed in Division II playoffs, Kennedy (1-7, 1-4) can salvage their season with an upset.
  • West Valley League: 
    • Birmingham (6-3, 3-1) will battle Taft (4-5, 2-2) in one of the most competitive rivalries in the West Valley League. This game will air on tape delay on Time Warner Cable Sports.
  • Western League: 
    • A Hamilton (3-6, 1-3) can earn them a spot in the Division II bracket, Palisades (6-3, 2-2) needs a win just as bad in order to make their case for the Division I bracket.
    • Fairfax (4-5, 3-1) suffered a tough loss against Venice (7-2, 4-0), they must bounce back with a win to keep their Division I playoff hopes alive. University (5-4, 2-2) can use a win to make their case for a top seed in Division II.
