The CIF LA City Section Football Divisions I, II and III have been realigned for the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Every two years football has realignment to determine the divisions.
The division alignment is determined by the Section football advisory which comprises of one coaching representative from every league.
The only appeal allowed from Division II will be the 21st and 22nd ranked teams if they choose to move up to Division I. Division III teams may appeal to move up to Division II.
The ranking is compiled using the previous two years records and the MaxPreps rankings.
