A new era has begun at Dorsey. And the Dons are off to an impressive 2-0 start following a 20-19 victory against Paraclete on Thursday night.
First-year coach Irvin Davis led his Dons to an inspiring 33-14 victory on the road at Hamilton to begin the season. The Dons rallied from a 14-0 second quarter deficit behind an efficient rushing attack that kept the Yankees on their heels. Dorsey scored 33 unanswered points to win going away.
After coaching for more than 20 years on the Dorsey staff, Davis was promoted to head coach after legendary Coach Paul Knox retired last spring. There will be a celebration on Knox’s behalf on September 25 when the Don’s faithful will honor the career of Knox. For more information, please see the details below.
