Palisades Charter is seeded number one for the Division I Girls Volleyball Playoffs. Taft is seeded number one in Division II, Eagle Rock is seeded number one in Division III, and Elizabeth Learning Center is seeded number one in Division IV/V

It's Week 10 and CIF Los Angeles City Section Football Playoffs are on the horizon. Every match is important as teams have one last chance to impress the playoff seeding committee. Three undefeated teams remain and look to remain that way in hopes for a top seed in their respective divisions. Birmingham at Taft will be broadcast on Tape Delay on Time Warner Cable Sports.

On a beautiful November day at Balboa Golf Course in Encino, CIF Los Angeles City Section saw Granada Hills win its third consecutive title with what is considered the best score in recent CIFLACS history. Tiffany Yau also took home her third consecutive Individual Championship with a nine stroke lead. Good luck to all those participating in SoCal Regionals

The Football Seeding Meeting is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, beginning at 8:30 in the morning. This year there are four divisions that are scheduled to compete for the Section Championship.

With playoffs just two short weeks away, competition is heating up. League titles on the line from East to West, North to South and everywhere in between. Three undefeated teams will be tested again, Eagle Rock continues their amazing 16 quarter shut-out streak and in the Valley Mission League we'll see a rematch of last year's CIFLACS Division II Championship. There will be two key matchups broadcast on Time Warner Cable Deportes and Time Warner Cable Sports Channel that could decide the Eastern and Western League titles.
