Chatsworth defeats Palisades 3-2 to advance to the Section Final for the 12 time in 15 years. Birmingham outlast Narbonne 3 - 1 to make it an all West Valley League Division I Section Final. Dorsey defeated South East 8 - 5 to advance to the Section Division II Final. Van Nuys Defeated Huntington Park 5 - 4 to meet Dorsey in the final at Dodger Stadium, Saturday, June 7, 10:00 AM start. Division III Final is set for Monday, June 9 with Port of Los Angeles Charter facing Fulton Prep at USC start time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.

The CIF Los Angeles Section All City Boys Volleyball Team has been released

Palisades Charter captured the Boys Golf Team championship to advance to the CIF Southern California Regional Tournament.

Carson, Eagle Rock, LACES, and Rancho Dominguez will represent the CIF Los Angeles City Section in the Southern California Regional Tournament.

Myra Einberg, a long time volleyball and golf coach at Venice High School, was selected by the State CIF as a recipient of the 2013-14 Distinguished Service Award. Myra retired in 2013 and is currently the CIF Los Angeles City Section Golf Sport Coordinator and is an active volunteer with the Friends of Golf, a nonprofit organization that promotes youth golf programs throughout the United States. Myra was instrumental in securing the distribution of new golf clubs to over 80 students from the CIF Los Angeles City Section.
